| 1. Eligibility
Open
to legal U.S. residents (except where prohibited
by law) who are 18 years of age or older at the time
of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their respective
agents, affiliates, sales representatives, marketing
affiliates and partners, distributors, and members
of the immediate family or household of each are not
eligible.
Sponsor may at their discretion sponsor additional
promotions which may have different eligibility requirements
but
which may share prizes to be awarded under the "Cookbook"
Giveaway. Such other promotions shall be subject
to the specific
terms and conditions set forth in the
contest rules applicable to such promotions.
2. How To Enter.
Eligible persons are automatically entered into the
contest when they return the contest entry form with
all areas filled out correctly. Sponsor reserves the
right to use its sole discretion to determine which
entries answer the questions correctly. Sponsor is not
responsible for late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected
entries. Limit one entry per household. Sponsor is not
responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information
caused by human error that may occur in the processing
of the entries in the contest. All entries become property
of the Sponsor and will not be returned.
3. Winner Selection.
Four
(4) prize
winners will be selected from among all eligible
entries received, in random drawing to
be held on or about March 1, 2004 conducted by
Sponsor, the judges of the contest, whose decisions
are final
on all matters relating to the contest. Odds of winning
depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Winners will be notified by email. Return
of any prize as undeliverable will
result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate
winner.
4. Prizes.
Four
(4) sets of one (1) cookbook and two (2) boxes of
Perky's™ Nutty Grains & Soy™ cereal
will be awarded on
or about March 15, 2004. Winners
will
recieve
by
mail one (1) set of one (1) cookbook and two (2) boxes
of Perky's™ Nutty Grains & Soy™ cereal.
If an eligible person who is a minor has been selected,
the
prize
will be
awarded
in the name of the minor's parents or legal guardian.
Awarding of prizes and contest administration shall
be the sole responsibility of Solae, LLC..
5. Miscellaneous
By entering, participants, (a) agree to be bound by
the official rules and the decisions of the judges;
(b) agree to release Sponsor and their respective employees
and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage,
or injury resulting in the participation in this contest
for awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse
of any prize awarded therein and acknowledges that Sponsor,
and their respective employees and agents have neither
made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for
any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express
or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize
including, but not limited to, its quality, condition
or fitness for any particular purpose; and (c) consent
to the use of his or her name for future contact by
Sponsor and/or third party if so agreed upon in the
contest entry. Winner will be responsible for any applicable
taxes on the prize. Subject to federal, state, and local
laws and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right, in
its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate
the contest for any reason.
