I couldn't stop eating this beautiful, golden-colored oatmeal.  I have now happily had it for breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks....and counting!  Very easy, and a very good choice for a busy weekday when you need an enriched breakfast or midmorning pick-up to get you through the day.

Ingredients:

11 ounces (1 1/2 cups) Hansen's® Soy Smoothie, Peach Passion flavor

3/4 cup rolled oats (noninstant)

1/8 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons chopped almonds, lightly toasted (optional)

 
Instructions:

1.  Bring the smoothie to a boil in a small saucepan.  Add the oats and salt; turn the heat down to a simmer and partially cover.

2.  Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.  Serve hot, topped with almonds.
