Peanut Plus Bars

I wanted to make a healthy, delicious snack using soy protein that also included chocolate and peanut butter for fun. 
 
Measures Translation Table
 
Ingredients:

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup sesame seeds

1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped into small pieces

1 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped peanuts

1 cup peanut butter and milk chocolate morsels

3 scoops GNC Soy Protein

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon canola oil

1 cup brown rice syrup

1 cup creamy peanut butter

 
Instructions:

1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees.  Spread foil in 11"x13" pan and set aside.

2.  Mix oats and sesame seeds and spread on jelly roll or sheet pan.  Toast lightly in oven for 4-5 minutes.  Place in large wide mixing bowl and allow to cool.  Turn off oven.

3.  Once oats and sesame seeds are cool, add apricots, raisins, peanuts and soy protein powder and mix well.  Add morsels and mix in.

4.  In small heavy pot, heat canola oil and when hot add brown rice syrup.  Bring to bubbling point, mix in peanut butter.  Pour mixture as widely as possible over mixture in bowl and mix very quickly.  Spread into prepared pan and refrigerate for about one hour.  Remove and cut into bars.
