Beat butter and sugar at low speed until
fluffy.

Combine flour and salt and add to butter
mixture. Add eggs one at a time, blending
well between each egg. Add vanilla
and lemon extracts.

Grease and flour tube pan. Add batter
and tap pan on a hard surface several times
to remove air pockets. Bake at 300-325°F
for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted into
the middle comes out clean.
4.
Let cool. Turn onto a plate to remove
from pan, then turn onto serving plate so
that the crusty side is on top.
