Easy Non-dairy Cocoa

Measures Translation Table
 
Ingredients:
1 cup very hot soymilk
1/2 Tbsp. Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbsp. Unbleached sugar
1 Tbsp. GeniSoy® Ultra-XT Chocolate Shake
1/4 tsp. Vanilla or 1/3 tsp. Almond peppermint extract
 
Instructions:
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender
  2. Remove the plastic center part of the blender lid, and cover it with a folder tea towel before bending. This prevents steam build-up inside the blender, which can cause hot liquid to explode.
  3. Blend until smooth
  4. Pour into a mug and serve immediately.

Microwave option

  1. Use cold soymilk
  2. Pour all the ingredients into a large microwave-save mug (large enough to prevent boil-overs)
  3. Microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes.
  4. Whisk before serving.
