Chocolate Twist

Ingredients:
Streusel
3 T. flour
3 T. sugar
1 T. butter

Twist
1 8oz. can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
½ cup chocolate chips
1 T. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 scoop GeniSoy® Chocolate Protein powder
1 T. butter, melted
1 T. chocolate chips

 
Instructions:
  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Grease a 13x9" cookie sheet. In small bowl, combine flour and 3 T. sugar with fork, cut in 1 T. butter until crumbly.
  3. Unroll dough to form 12x8" rectangle, firmly press perforations to seal. Sprinkle ½ chocolate chips, 1 T. sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon and half of the streusel mixture.

  4. Starting at the long side, roll up; pinch edge to seal. Pinch ends to seal. Place in prepared pan. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with remaining half of streusel. Sprinkle with 1 T. chocolate chips; press gently into dough.

  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, or until deep golden brown. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes.Serve warm.
