Ingredients:
1 package Gimme Lean!™ Beef
4 tablespoon water
2 tablespoon canola oil
6 cabbage leaves (large outer ones)
2 med. onions, finely chopped
1 small green pepper, finely chopped
2 cups cooked rice
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoon sweetener
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoon cider vinegar

Instructions:

Make the Meatballs

  1. Cover cabbage leaves with boiling water. Cover and let stand until leaves are limp, about 10 minutes. Drain.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium heat. Add garlic and onions. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add green peppers. Continue cooking until onions are translucent.
  4. Add entire package of Gimme Lean!™ Beef in small clumps to onion and pepper mixture, and chop into smaller bite size pieces.
  5. Add Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Continue cooking over medium heat until browned.
  6. Add cooked rice. Add sweetener and vinegar to tomato sauce. Set aside 1/4 cup.
  7. Add remainder of sauce to skillet; blend well. Place 1/3 cup Gimme Lean!™ Beef filling at stem end of each cabbage leaf.
  8. Roll leaf around mixture, tucking in sides. Use toothpick to hold together if necessary.
  9. Place cabbage roll seam side down in ungreased oblong baking pan.
  10. Combine reserved 1/4 cup tomato sauce with 2 tablespoon water and pour over cabbage rolls.
  11. Cover and cook in 350° oven, 35-45 minutes.
